Saint Vincent De Paul Lewisham
- Client: Paynter Dixon Constructions Pty Ltd
- Principal: Northern Group
- Contract Superintendant: Stephen Wafer (Project Manager)
- Date: February 2010
Overall site works at Saint Vincent De Paul Lewisham involve the demolition and removal of existing concrete surfaces, retaining walls, redundant underground services, vegetation and protection of heritage items.
At completion of clearing works, new bitumen driveways, concrete kerbs, stormwater drainage and landscaping were reinstated to complete the external works upgrade of Saint Vincent De Paul’s new state office.
Synergy provided plant, equipment and supervision for the duration of works, managing all site works on behalf of the client.
A combination of 12t-8t excavators and 5t ASV loaders were used for the excavation work and installation of DGB20 and DGS40 pavement bases.
Site clearing of existing tree’s required that all tree’s be felled with the use of tree loppers in scissor booms only, due to the proximity to overhead wires, heritage items and existing newly upgrade fire services.
The project was delivered on time, budget and the satisfaction of the client. All heritage items were protected and no injuries sustained during the project.
